We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in both commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Carry out custodial tasks such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and replenishing supplies.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with facility maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high standards of cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and floor care techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods will be beneficial for this role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
