What you’ll do
- Provide outstanding customer service by promptly taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests.
- Utilize Aloha Toast POS systems to process orders efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas while adhering to food safety standards.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy shifts.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, answering questions about menu items and drink specials.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cashiering and cash handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of orders.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
Preferred qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Servsafe and/or PA RAMP certification a plus
- Some experience in mixology to enhance beverage offerings
- Proven sales skills to promote and upsell menu items effectively.
