Job Summary
Roper Technologies, Inc. (“Roper”) is seeking an Associate to join its ESG and Compliance team based in Sarasota, Florida. The role will require strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and communications skills to drive rigorous reporting, analysis, and insights and to help build systems and processes to meet the evolving needs of our business and stakeholders. We are looking for a team-centric individual with a passion for project management, information systems and processes along with a desire to leverage data to advance our ESG position. This includes ongoing tracking and management of a large and growing set of ESG performance metrics for Roper. The ESG and Compliance Associate will effectively manage meetings, milestones, and management reporting and be heavily involved in the continued development and implementation of our ESG program. This individual will drive ESG measurement and tracking, including data collection of KPI metrics and process and improvement initiatives. They will work with stakeholders across all of Roper’s 27 businesses to gather data to define the current state and align resources and efforts to achieve goals and objectives. The Associate will also be available to manage projects for the Compliance and Legal functions. The role will report to the Senior Manager of ESG and Compliance and work closely with Roper’s approximately 27 global businesses.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS Degree (environmental science, environmental policy, sustainability, business, analytics).
- REQUIRED, 3 years relevant experience.
- Previous experience in ESG data management, including the implementation and management of ESG data collection software solutions.
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards such as CDP, GHG Protocol, SASB and TCFD.
- Knowledge of the GHG Protocol and Science-Based Target initiative.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (i.e., Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint).
- Previous work experience on advanced business analytics, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills for pivot tables, linked spreadsheets, advanced formulas, etc.
- Ability to manage large and complex data.
- A critical thinker, nimble with analysis and numerical data, with a focus on concrete and quantitative back-up for positions taken.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts.
- Strong project and time management skills to drive aggressive and ambitious plans to completion.

Compensation
Base salary ($65,000 – $80,000); annual bonus (tied to Company performance). Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience and certifications.
