Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Service Representative for a full-time, on-site position at our Mount Pleasant, SC location. In this role, you will handle appointment scheduling, manage patient inquiries with professionalism, verify insurance information, and use medical terminology to facilitate communications between patients and healthcare providers. Additionally, you will assist with administrative tasks to support the operation of the medical office and ensure exceptional patient service.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and strong Phone Etiquette skills
- Experience with Insurance Verification and familiarity with Medical Terminology
- Previous experience working in a Medical Office or healthcare setting
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
- Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in relevant computer systems and scheduling software
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in medical office administration are a plus
