Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor position is someone passionate about being a clinical/licensure supervisor of the IHFR team (1 team), and licensure supervision to 8-10 clinical trainee therapists. This position is seeking someone looking for variety in their work, from supervising clinical trainee therapists and interns to completing diagnostic assessments for treatment clients and overseeing innovative programs. Responsibilities include individual and group clinical/licensure supervision, cultivating, supporting, and leading a strong clinical team.

The Clinical Supervisor will support anti-oppressive/anti-racist practice, and trauma-responsive practice, through their administrative and operations support of program staff working on site and in community to address socioeconomic and health disparity. Experience and interest in working with clients with a range of identities including age, developmental and acquired disabilities, religion, spirituality, ethnicity, race, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, relationship structure, indigenous heritage, national origin, immigration status, and gender is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group clinical supervision, leadership, and administrative supervision for therapists, interns, behavioral health practitioners and case managers.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision for the In-Home Family Recovery (IHFR) program.
  • Review and approve clinical documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to agency standards.
  • Provide licensure supervision to licensure candidates, maintain accurate and timely clinical records, correspondence, and reports.
  • Cultivate staff engagement and lead monthly group supervision and team meetings that foster group collaboration.
  • Promote and model frequent feedback, performance development coaching, and holding staff accountable for meeting performance expectations.
  • Make case assignments and oversee workloads and workflow.
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff.
  • With support from program staff, define clear goals and measures of program success, collect and analyze data, evaluate outcomes, and develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and cultivate opportunities for sustainability and innovative growth through enhanced, new or expanded programs.
  • Serve as a liaison to other agencies and community groups helping to cultivate RWC as a top-of-mind, trusted, top-quality service provider; thought leader; and strategic partner.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures ensuring compliance with human resource rules, state statute, and assessment and case management best practice and standards.
  • Facilitate continuous process improvement of systems and programs by determining needs and improvements, developing plans, developing policies, procedures, and evaluating outcomes for services.
  • Oversee the Economic Justice Lab, including program implementation, coordination, and outcomes monitoring.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master's or doctoral Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited graduate program
  • Minnesota professional license at the LICSW, LP, LMFT, or LPCC level as Board Approved Supervisor
  • Minimum of five years of experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and family on a wide range of clinical issues
  • Minimum of three years of experience hiring, training, and supervising multiple staff or students, in working with evidence-based approaches to work with individuals, children, adults, couples, and families in a clinical setting preferred
  • Working or otherwise developing relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, such as differences related to culture, religion, financial resources, race, national origin, age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, and abilities
  • Specific expertise with certain populations (e.g., children, adolescents, couples, older adults) encouraged to apply
  • Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on outcomes

  • Effective supervisor - in coaching, supporting, and holding staff accountable for meeting performance expectations; and in supporting staff in individual professional development

  • Proficient user of electronic health record systems for documentation and communication
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
