Role Description This is an on-site contract role for a Hairstylist based in Willoughby, OH at Roots Salon & Barbershack. The Hairstylist will consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide haircuts, styling, coloring, and basic treatments aligned with salon standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing workstations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of tools and surfaces, and managing appointment flow. The role includes educating clients on proper hair care and recommending appropriate products or services. Qualifications
- Strong Hair Styling and Hair Care skills, including cutting, styling, and basic treatments.
- Foundational Cosmetology knowledge and adherence to state cosmetology and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build rapport and provide clear consultations.
- Valid cosmetology or barber license in the state of Ohio.
