Roots on 9th is looking for a creative Floral Designer to join our team! We're a design-forward flower shop, greenhouse, and event studio that loves creating unique, artistic work. No cookie-cutter arrangements here—we're all about texture, movement, color, and thinking outside the vase.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about flowers, loves working with people, and enjoys being part of a fun, fast-paced team. Every day is different, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing fresh floral arrangements for everyday occasions, sympathy, weddings, events, and everything in between.
- Helping customers choose the perfect flowers and bringing their vision to life.
- Processing and caring for fresh flowers so they stay beautiful and long-lasting.
- Keeping our cooler and showroom looking full, inspiring, and inviting.
- Pitching in wherever needed—from helping in the greenhouse to making deliveries, unpacking trucks, or preparing for workshops and events.
- Working with our team to create an exceptional experience for every customer who walks through our doors or calls the shop.
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Has floral design experience (professional experience is preferred).
- Loves creativity and isn't afraid to try something new.
- Has a great eye for color, texture, and design.
- Enjoys working in a busy environment and can juggle multiple projects.
- Is dependable, motivated, and takes pride in their work.
- Loves working with people and provides outstanding customer service.
- Has a valid driver's license (deliveries are occasionally part of the job).
- Doesn't mind getting their hands dirty—we're a flower shop and greenhouse, after all!
