We’re looking for a friendly and energetic Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, helping create a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service through friendly communication and helpful product knowledge.
- Assist with product demos and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products attractively.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with accuracy and professionalism.
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves and ensuring products are well-presented for shoppers.
- Demonstrate good phone etiquette when answering questions or taking orders over the phone.
Experience
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or natural foods markets.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are advantageous to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear speaking abilities.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are beneficial for growth within the team.
