What are the responsibilities and job description for the CANNABIS CULTIVATION TECHNICIAN position at Roots Management LLC?
Roots Management is looking for a cultivation assistant to become the 3RD member of our small, efficient team. We view employees as team members and we all work very closely with one another to accomplish growing top tier cannabis.
Applicants must have an active MED employee badge, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or GED, and already live in Colorado.
Responsibilities will include all steps of the cannabis cultivation process from start (cloning) to finish (packaging). This will include but not be limited to cleaning pots, cutting clones, transplanting clones, tagging plants, transplanting mature plants including filling pots with dirt, pruning immature and mature pants, watering plants, trellising/supporting mature plants, defoliating mature plants, maintaining pest control by implementing a stringent pest management program, and cleaning of equipment. Team members will also be asked to facilitate with the curing process of finished products, including packaging, and asked to gather green waste, record weights, and dispose of plant material following MED regulations.
Applicants are asked to be able to lift 30 pounds, have a keen eye for detail, and be willing to work on their feet for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working alone.
