Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Product Knowledge: Understanding cannabis strains, cannabinoids, consumption methods, and explaining them clearly to customers.
· Customer Service: Providing attentive service, making helpful recommendations, and addressing customer needs with empathy.
· Compliance: Knowing and adhering to local and state regulations for cannabis sales.
· Sales and Upselling: Cross-selling products based on customer preferences and sales techniques. Meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to specific brands and pre-discussed sales metrics.
· Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records, restocking shelves, and ensuring product availability.
· Problem-Solving and Professionalism: Resolving customer concerns and product issues with reliability, respect, and integrity.
· Safety: Following strict safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for customers and staff.
· Sanitation & Store Presentation: Follows all cleaning protocols to ensure that retail environment is always presentable to customers. Follows all standards to ensure that employee-only areas are always kept clean and hazard free.

Job Qualifications:
Experience / Knowledge:
· 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a retail setting required.
· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
· Previous experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not always required.
· Familiarity with handling cash transactions and point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
· Proficiency with basic computer and phone operating systems required.
· Verbal and written proficiency in English required.
· Displays genuine care for fostering a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere.
· Has intrinsic motivation to learn, improve, uphold store standards, and work effectively without constant supervision.
Physical Requirements:
· The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
· Required to stand for extended periods of time.
· Required to wear comfortable and appropriate clothes as highlighted in the Employee Handbook.
· Occasionally required to bend, squat, sit, and reach.
Mental Demands
· Ability to change direction as priorities shift.

Work Conditions:
· Primarily indoors in a retail environment.
· Utilizing tablets equipped with POS system for efficient cash transactions.
· Occasional answering of phone calls for customer inquiries.
· Occasional outside duties related to sanitation standards, such as taking out the trash.
Environmental Conditions
· The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
· The temperature in the work environment is generally moderate to cool.
