Description
Roots Ocean Prime in Darien is currently seeking back-waiters/food runners that will exceed our guests expectations by providing them with the highest level of consistent, professional and courteous service!
GOALS
- To provide the highest quality service to guests at all times
- Reporting on time and in proper uniform, always clocking in and out as required of all employees.
- To promote teamwork within the restaurant creating a positive work environment.
- Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant at all times
- To properly execute all necessary steps of service
- Respond positively to any requests.
- Assisting servers by delivering food and beverages to tables.
- Refilling water glasses and other beverages.
- Providing support during peak service hours.
- Maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Ensuring side stations are stocked and clean.
- Removing trash

Requirements
- Fast learner and able to follow direction
- Knowledge of food and beverage (preferred) as well as a passion to cultivate this skill
- Displays a confident and professional appearance
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Able to stand and move for long periods of time
- Able to carry at least 40 pounds
- High school diploma preferred
