What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Services Associate position at Rooted Planning Group?
The CSA works directly with the team to assist with the financial planning needs of clients.
This role is a key member of the service team for all clients and facilitates a supportive process
to assist in the delivery of financial plans and service to clients. This position is responsible for
monitoring client tasks and workflows.
The ideal candidate is someone who can take charge of their responsibilities, is organized,
takes ownership of their role, has a comfort level with technology, is client service minded,
passionate about delivering great service, and asks questions when needed.
Essential Functions
High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsible for the initial client interaction (phone, office visits, etc.)
Support in meeting preparation and follow-up
Coordinate, manage and improve client processes and data in our CRM
Ensure work is organized and current in the CRM
Assist with client billing
Demonstrate professional, ethical and courteous conduct in responsibilities and
dealings with clients, prospects, COIs, colleagues and other businesses with which we
interact.
Miscellaneous tasks as needed (this may include help with marketing, HR, compliance,
etc). We are a small firm so everyone wears lots of hats.
Major skills needed to perform the job include: Attention to detail and organizational skills, Flexibility in day-to-day workflow, Prior experience in financial services (helpful but not required), and Experience with Salesforce, eMoney, Google workspace, Zoom, Schwab are all a plus!
