Rooted Cleaning is a boutique residential cleaning service serving discerning homeowners across the Upstate. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in their craft and understands that true luxury is found in the details.

We're not a high-volume service rushing from house to house. We're a carefully curated team serving select clients who value meticulous attention to detail and environmentally responsible practices. Quality always comes before speed.

This is a W-2 employee position with a clear path to grow into full-time, Lead Cleaner, or Quality Inspector roles based on performance.

Compensation & Growth

• Starting Pay: $14/hour
• Client Referral Bonus: Refer a client who completes their first cleaning and earn a cash bonus — no cap on referrals
• Starting Hours: 5–20 hours/week with opportunity to grow based on performance and business growth
• Schedule: Flexible weekday daytime availability preferred

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualities:

• Exceptional attention to detail and genuine pride in quality work
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning checklists and quality standards
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client homes in the Upstate area

Professional Standards:

• Must maintain a professional appearance consistent with working in luxury residential homes, including wearing the provided uniform
• As we work in close proximity to clients and their families in their private homes, employees must be free of strong fragrances, perfumes, or scented personal products during working hours — this is a client-facing role and professional presentation is required at all times
• Must present a neat, tidy, and professional appearance at every client visit

Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment
• Professional demeanor suitable for working in upscale private residences

Experience

Cleaning experience is helpful but not required. We provide thorough hands-on training for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
