What You’ll Do
- Support a hybrid role that blends tax support with general accounting responsibilities, shifting focus based on business needs throughout the year.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of materials used in federal and state tax filings, with an emphasis on partnership-related work.
- Help manage incoming tax documents by organizing information, flagging gaps, and coordinating follow-ups as needed.
- Contribute to quarterly tax planning activities by assisting with estimates and high-level income projections.
- Provide ongoing support for tax-related projects, reviews, and inquiries as they arise.
- Maintain alignment between accounting records and tax reporting to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Assist with routine close activities, including basic journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting for a small number of entities.
- Support day-to-day accounting operations such as payment processing, cash tracking, and intercompany allocations.
- Help improve documentation, workflows, and internal processes over time.

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 1–2 years of tax accounting experience.
- Exposure to partnerships and tax compliance work.
- Public accounting experience preferred but not required.
- CPA a plus, not mandatory.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working across both tax and accounting tasks.
- Detail-oriented, polished, and communicative with a desire to learn and grow.
- Comfortable in a stable, collaborative, low-ego environment.
