Role Description This is a full-time, Graphic Designer role. The Graphic Designer will create visual assets for digital and print channels, including social media graphics, ad creatives, website visuals, and sales collateral that support Root’s contractor clients. This role will collaborate closely with marketing strategists and account managers to translate brand positioning into effective visual concepts and campaigns. Day-to-day work includes designing and refining logos, building brand assets, selecting and pairing typography, and maintaining consistent brand standards across all touchpoints. The Graphic Designer will also prepare files for production, iterate on feedback, and contribute to creative brainstorming and improvement of visual guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with a portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, and effective visual communication.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding, including building or refining visual identities and brand systems.
- Proficiency in Typography, including font selection, hierarchy, and layout for both digital and print formats.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or similar).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, meet deadlines, and iterate quickly based on feedback in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail, visual consistency, and brand alignment across multiple assets and campaigns.
- Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional, distributed teams.
