Experienced Climber / Bucket Truck Operator
Root Tree Service – Centennial, CO
Starting Pay: $25.00/hour, based on experience
Root Tree Service is looking for an experienced Tree Climber / Bucket Truck Operator to join our team. We are seeking a skilled, dependable professional who takes pride in quality tree work and can safely operate equipment and work as part of a crew.
This is a hands-on position for someone who already has experience in the tree care industry and is comfortable working at heights, operating a bucket truck, and performing a variety of residential and commercial tree services.
Responsibilities
- Safely climb trees using proper climbing techniques and equipment
- Operate a bucket truck safely and efficiently
- Perform tree trimming, pruning, removals, and storm-related work
- Safely use chainsaws, ropes, rigging equipment, and other tree-care equipment
- Perform aerial tree work from a bucket truck or while climbing
- Assist with tree removals and complex rigging operations
- Identify hazardous limbs, trees, and job-site conditions
- Work safely around homes, vehicles, power lines, and other structures
- Load, process, and clean up tree debris
- Maintain and properly care for equipment and tools
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Provide professional, respectful service at customer properties
Qualifications
- Previous professional tree-care experience required
- Experience as a tree climber and bucket truck operator
- Strong knowledge of safe climbing, rigging, and chainsaw practices
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely lift and handle equipment and tree debris
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team member
- Valid driver's license required
- Arborist certifications or industry training are a plus

Compensation
