What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and configure custom Duck Creek solutions using ManuScript
- Help design scalable solutions that align with client strategies and future capabilities
- Take ownership of customer issues and drive them through to resolution
- Lead a small team of developers and contribute to project success
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
- Contribute to planning, design, and continuous improvement of development processes
- 5 years of industry experience, including 4 years working with Duck Creek products
- Strong knowledge of the Duck Creek Platform (Author, Express, Server, User Admin, TransACT)
- Experience with Duck Creek Server API and ManuScript development
- Proficiency with XML/XSLT (or similar programming languages)
- Experience with SQL Server (stored procedures, triggers, functions, cursors, XQueries)
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, ADO/JIRA, and source control systems
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle, especially Agile environments
- Experience mentoring developers and leading small project teams
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
