Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately, following safety and sanitation standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales
- Serve food promptly at the counter or drive-thru, ensuring quality presentation and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and managing food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, stocking supplies, and ensuring the kitchen area remains organized and efficient
- Support team members during busy periods by managing cashier duties, food prep, or cleaning tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work effectively in a team environment
