Job Summary
Roosters Prep Cooks are responsible for the timely preparation of all raw foods and fresh product for the line cooks. Duties Include, but are not limited to, washing and cleaning of raw food products. Peel, dice, shred and slice food products and produce using provided equipment. Follow recipes and procedures set fourth for food items. Review all prepped items used, checking for quality and proper rotation. Possesses a clear understanding of weights and measures. Portions meats, dressings, and cheeses. Washes, chops, grates, and slices vegetables. Cuts and slices meats to the appropriate portion sizes. Displays superior knife skills and can quickly and safely slice or chop ingredients into exact portions called for in the recipe.
