Roosevelt Park Ministries is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Facility Management Assistant to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of our facilities. This role involves both indoor and outdoor responsibilities to support our mission of providing a welcoming environment for the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interior & Exterior Cleaning: Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy and professional appearance both inside the building and on the surrounding grounds.
- Grounds Keeping & Lawn Care: Maintain outdoor areas, including mowing the lawn, weeding, and general landscaping duties.
- Snow Removal: Clear snow and ice from walkways and entrances during winter months to ensure safe access for visitors and staff.
- Minor Repairs & Building Maintenance: Address basic maintenance needs and perform minor repairs to the facility as they arise.
- Facility Preparation: Help prepare meeting rooms and classrooms for various programs and events.
Strengths and Abilities:
- Reliability: Arrives on time and completes tasks in a reasonable timeframe. Independence: Ability to see what needs to be done and take action with minimal supervision.
- Teamwork: Works effectively with other staff members and maintains a positive attitude.
