Behavioral Interventionist
The Behavioral Interventionist is responsible for processing and re-teaching appropriate student behaviors that lead to positive social interactions across a variety of settings; supports the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

- You must meet one of the state's "Highly Qualified" requirements to be eligible for this position: a 2 or 4 year degree (AA or BA) or you have completed the paraeducator course through the AEA and have been issued the Paraeducator Certification from the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE).
- Para Cdrtification or AA start at $19.13 / hour
- BA starts at $19.89 / hour
- Benefits include single health insurance
- Experience with student behavioral supports preferred
- CPI or TCI experience preferred
- Emotional maturity and stability necessary for the specialized work involved
