What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at Roomi Group Corporation?
We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join
our team at Roomi Group Corporation.
Responsibilities:
- Review
project plans, specifications, and client communication to determine
project scope and requirements.
- Utilize
estimating software and tools to create take-offs and proposals based on
company SOPs and protocols.
- Identify
potential risks and challenges that may impact project costs and
schedules.
- Respond
to client requests for breakouts, SOVs, VE’s, pricing adjustments,
escalations, and other scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s
degree – preferably in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a
related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5
years verifiable experience as an Estimator and/or reading construction
blueprints on a daily basis.
- Very
strong proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Very
strong proficiency in using software – estimating software, Excel, Word
and PDF readers.
- Detailed,
organized, and precise.
- Strong
verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for effective
collaboration with stakeholders.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
