Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile roofing.
- Handle hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install roofing materials according to project specifications.
- Support the setup and securement of scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses in compliance with construction safety regulations.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, siding components, and concrete forms while maintaining proper lifting techniques.
- Follow all safety protocols diligently, including the use of fall protection equipment like safety harnesses and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of construction plans and site layouts by interpreting technical drawings and schematics for accurate installation.
