What The Position is About:
- Lead and develop an established commercial estimating team
- Own bid strategy, estimate quality, pricing, risk, and final proposal decisions
- Partner with operations and Project Management to ensure estimates align with how projects will actually be executed
- Work directly with customers to present estimates, build confidence, and help win profitable work
- Improve estimating processes, follow-up, and team development as the company continues to scale
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Strong construction knowledge and business judgement
- Experience leading complex estimates and developing other estimators
- Ability to evaluate pricing, labor, risk, and margin
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship skills
- Experience with commercial construction estimating software and Excel
