Commercial Roofing Project Coordinator

We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Coordinator for our St Louis, MO location.

The Project Coordinator supports commercial roofing projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from contract award to closeout. This position assists Project Managers with project administration, contracts, bonding, insurance, billing, compliance documentation, and customer requirements to help ensure projects are executed efficiently and successfully.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Provide administrative support to the production and project management teams.
• Assist with bids, contracts, bonding, insurance, and project startup documentation.
• Create and maintain project records, purchase orders, subcontractor files, and customer documentation.
• Prepare and submit project billings, lien waivers, and other customer-required paperwork.
• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, prequalification packages, licenses, and certifications.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support project closeout activities and ensure required documentation is completed.
• Assist with month-end reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a backup for office administrative functions as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 3 years of experience in construction, roofing, project coordination, project administration, or a related industry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to solve problems, follow through on tasks, and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with project management software, CRM systems, or construction management platforms preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Knowledge of business operations, project coordination, and construction processes.
• Understanding of commercial roofing materials, systems, and industry practices preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Comfortable conducting occasional visits to active construction and roofing job sites.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate information from contracts, drawings, specifications, and company policies.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
