Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Low-Slope Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects. This role focuses on low-slope systems and supports bid development, pricing strategy, and project handoff to production teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare detailed estimates for commercial low-slope roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR)

· Perform quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and RFP documents

· Review drawings, addenda, and bid requirements to define complete scope

· Solicit and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors

· Develop complete bid proposals including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead

· Coordinate with production and project management teams for scope alignment and handoff

· Participate in bid reviews, value engineering, and clarification meetings

· Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data

Required Experience & Skills

· 3 years of commercial low-slope roofing estimating experience

· Strong knowledge of low-slope roofing assemblies and specifications

· Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings

· Proficiency with EDGE Estimating Software

· Experience with digital takeoff tools

· Strong Excel and organizational skills

· Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

· Advanced EDGE Estimating experience (assemblies, templates, historical cost data)

· Experience with Procore or similar project management software

· Experience with multi-site or national commercial roofing projects

· Manufacturer certifications (GAF, Carlisle, Firestone, Johns Manville, etc.)
