Job Summary: Warehouse Foreman oversees operations at the warehouse to ensure all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Job responsibilities include receiving/inspecting inbound material, maintaining location codes in warehouse, pulling/loading walk-in customer orders, warehouse organization, warehouse cleanliness, participating in cycle counts and full inventories, and training employees on how to use machinery and monitoring compliance with safety standards. Business hours are 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse.

· Receive and properly check in all materials.

· Maintain warehouse location codes.

· Responsible for overall inventory and loss control.

· Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock.

· Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.

· Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees’ performance.

· Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve efficient operation.

· Responsible for trash and waste removal.

· Complete quarterly cycle counts.

· Prepare for annual full inventory counts.

· Inform branch or operations manager about any maintenance needs on the facility or yard areas.

· Responsible for overall cleanliness and appearance of all outdoor storage areas and parking areas.

· Responsible for arranging empty pallet removal.

· Responsible for the management of loading, unloading, and preparation of all delivery vehicles.

· Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing all required personal protective equipment.

· Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations.

· Communicate with other departments to ensure materials are shipped in a timely manner.

Requirements:

· Warehouse/Inventory Management a plus.

· Must be able to repeatedly lift 80 lbs.

· Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb ladders throughout shift.

· Forklift experience preferred.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills.

· Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.

· Great interpersonal skills.

· High School or equivalent preferred.

· Must always maintain a professional appearance.

· Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

· Must arrive at assigned start time daily.

· Team player and positive attitude toward customers and co-workers.
