Position Summary: The Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in managing day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting the business with timely administrative functions.
The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Process vendor invoices and payments

Reconcile vendor statements

Generate and send customer invoices

Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables

Enter purchase orders and inventory transactions

Banking & Reconciliation:

Reconcile credit card statements monthly

Enter credit card transactions and report discrepancies

Job Costing & Project Accounting:

Track expenses and revenue by job/project

Support project management teams with administrative tasks

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations

Maintain organized records for audits and inspections

Administrative Support:

Serve as a backup for other accounting functions

Assist with general office tasks and vendor communications

Ensure timely and professional handling of incoming calls to support efficient communication and customer service.
