What you’ll do
- Safely operate a semi with a dry bulk tanker.
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption to comply with regulations.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays or issues on the road.
- Provide exceptional service to customers during deliveries, ensuring their satisfaction with the process.
- Run regionally through OH, MI, IN, and KY
Basic qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery driver responsibilities.
- Must be at least 25 with 2 years experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience operating dry bulk tankers but willing to train as well.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety practices in transportation.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively on the road.
