Important Note:- This position is not open for C2C. Due to the nature of the project, we are only considering visa-independent candidates who can work on a W2.
Role:- UAT Tester (Cards & Payments)
Location:- Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Type:- W2 (Hourly) or Full-Time (Yearly)
Our Challenge:- We are seeking a detail-oriented UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Tester with demonstrated experience in credit card systems and transaction workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating credit card functionalities, ensuring compliance with security standards, and ensuring a seamless user experience post-deployment.
The Role Responsibilities: Develop, document, and execute UAT test cases based on business requirements and specifications for credit card systems. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand credit card workflows and identify testing requirements. Conduct end-to-end testing of credit card transactions, including authorization, capture, refunds, and billing processes. Validate compliance with security protocols, PCI DSS standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify, document, and track defects or issues, coordinating closely with the development team for resolution. Perform regression testing on credit card modules to ensure fix integrity. Provide detailed test reports, including defect summaries and readiness assessments for production deployment. Assist in training business users on UAT procedures and support their testing efforts. Participate in requirement review meetings and provide feedback on testability and potential risks. Requirements: Proven experience in UAT testing, specifically within credit card processing or financial services. Strong understanding of credit card transaction flows, authorization, settlement, and related processes. Knowledge of PCI DSS and other relevant security standards. Experience with testing tools and defect management systems (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM). Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
