We are seeking an experienced Automobile Technician to independently complete work orders for passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks, and vans. This role performs comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs using OEM diagnostic systems and advanced scan tools, while maintaining accurate documentation and delivering professional customer communication. Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues using OEM diagnostic systems, advanced scan tools, and OBD-II scanning.
- Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle safety inspections.
- Complete brake service, engine repairs, electrical repairs, and tire service.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems across passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks, and vans.
- Independently manage and complete assigned work orders.
- Document repairs, diagnostic findings, and completed services accurately.
- Communicate vehicle conditions, repair recommendations, and service updates to customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in automotive repair.
- Automotive technology certificate or diploma.
- ASE certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics and OBD-II scanning.
- Knowledge of engine repair, brake systems, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance.
- Experience performing vehicle safety inspections and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
