Candidates must demonstrate strong judgment, excellent firearm discipline, and a firm commitment to public safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Armed Security Presence: Maintain a strong, visible presence at entry points, high-risk areas, VIP sections, and throughout the event venue while equipped with a firearm.
- Threat Assessment & Incident Response: Quickly evaluate and respond to potential threats, disturbances, or emergencies with a calm, measured, and professional approach.
- Access Control: Enforce venue access restrictions, verify credentials, and secure restricted or sensitive areas.
- Crowd Control & De-escalation: Manage large groups professionally, intervene in disruptive behavior, and use de-escalation techniques whenever possible before drawing or using force.
- Collaborate with Local Law Enforcement & EMS: Act as liaison with local agencies during emergency responses or coordinated security efforts.
- Complete Detailed Incident Reports: Accurately document all relevant activity, including any use or display of a firearm, disturbances, or interventions.
- Uphold Company Values: Represent Ronin Protection Solutions Inc. with professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of duty at all times.
- Must be 21 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid California Guard Card and Exposed Firearm Permit (BSIS) required
- Current firearm qualification and approved caliber for duty use
- Prior experience in armed security, military, or law enforcement strongly preferred
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills under pressure
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods (8–12 hours)
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
- CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
