Job Description
This is a full-time 10-month position in the High School. Hours are 7:30am - 3pm, Monday - Friday. Start 1.5.26 .
Responsibilities:
Working with individual pupils or groups of pupils on special instructional projects as defined by classroom teachers.
Providing the teacher with information about pupils, which will assist the teacher in the development of appropriate learning experiences.
Assisting pupils in the use of available instructional resources, and assisting in the development of instructional materials.
Participating in in-service training programs as assigned.
Maintaining the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully certified teachers.
Assisting in related instructional work and evaluation as required by teachers.
Planning lesson and units in conjunction with the classroom teachers.
Assist with educational support and classroom transitions of identified special education students.
Offer behavioral support to identified students when disruptions occur.
Assist monitoring the identified students in the cafeteria on a regular/as needed basis.
Carrying out any other assigned duties deemed appropriate by the Administration and the Board of Education.
