What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fall 2026 – Soccer (Boys) Coaching Vacancies position at Rondout Valley Central School District?
RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking qualified candidates for the following coaching positions for the Fall 2026 Soccer (boys) season:
- Varsity Head Coach
- Varsity Assistant Coach
- JV Coach
- Modified Coach

Duties:
Overall development, supervision, and promotion of the program. Uphold and enforce the Rondout Valley Athletic Code of Conduct. Additional responsibilities are outlined in the Coach's Responsibilities Manual (available from the Athletic Office).
Qualifications: Candidates must meet NYS coaching certification requirements, including:
- Valid NYS Physical Education certification OR
- Valid NYS teaching certificate OR
- Temporary Coaching License through the NYSED TEACH system
Must also possess:
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Fingerprint clearance through NYSED
- Completion of Mandated Reporter Training in accordance with New York Social Services Law §413(5)
Additional Information: Coaching is a yearly appointment. All coaches must apply each year to be considered.
Salary: Per Contract
