Job Description
Job Title: 21st Century Learning Center Program Director and Adult Education Coordinator
Reports To: Building Principals / Curriculum, Grants and Federal Programs Director
Evaluated By: Curriculum, Grants and Federal Programs Director
JOB GOAL: To function as the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Director and the Adult Education Coordinator responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, staffing, and controlling the activities of these programs.

- Possess excellent communication and organization skills
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Demonstrate knowledge of budgeting processes, program reports, fund raising and public relations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may also be assigned.
- Oversee After School Clubs, Summer School and Camps at all schools
- Recommend hiring for the programs with approval from site administrators and superintendent
- Establish a yearly budget, approve and track all spending
- Establish program calendars for all after school and summer programs
- Launch new middle and high school programs as outlined in approved grants
- Oversee student recruitment and registration for all programs
- Recruit and recommend staff for the programs with approval from site administrators and superintendent
- Train staff in program expectations, data tracking, safety, and all other necessary topics
- Coordinate summer school registration and parent notification, assist with the grouping of children for reading groups, food and transportation services
- Provide administrative support for teachers during summer school
- Plan and organize family egagement activities as described in approved grants
- Coordinate with community agencies and recruit volunteers to enrich programs
- Meet quarterly with each building staff and yearly with advisory committee
- Organize summer school and camps-establish schedule, recruit and register students, coordinate with food and transportation services.
- Produce all necessary enrollment forms, permission slips, etc. needed for the programs
- Complete payroll for 21st CCLC staff
- Represent the District at all required 21st CCLC trainings
- Oversee collection of all required attendance, activity, and staffing data from all programs
- Complete and submit all required data and reports to the state including fall, spring, and summer data and local evaluation reports for each site
- Administer annual surveys seeking teacher, parent, student, staff and administration feedback on 21st CCLC programs
- Maintain program supplies and technology
- Write annual renewal or competitive grant 21st CCLC grant applications
- Seek and write additional grants to support 21st CCLC programs
ADULT EDUCATION COORDINATOR
- Develop, coordinate and advertise Adult Education Classes
- Register participants and account for the fees for Adult Education Classes
- Coordinate all logistics for classes including facility and technology use
- Train Adult Education instructors and monitors in program expectations and requirements, create and distribute instructor packets
- Maintain program website and online registration platform
- Create and post signage for open gym
- Communicate with participants, instructors, and school staff to ensure satisfaction with program
- Recruit, hire, and supervise Adult Education instructors and monitors
- Complete payroll for Adult Education staff
- Other duties as assigned
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, BONDING, AND/OR TESTING REQUIRED:
- Possess a valid First Aid card if required
- Possess a valid Driver's License if required
- Blood borne Pathogens Training/Hepatitis B Shot Series Training if required
