Job Overview
Ronan Engineering Company, a global manufacturer of instrumentation for the process control and power generation markets, has an excellent opportunity for a shop technician.
Must be dependable, this position is a key part of our process.
Duties
Responsible for cutting raw material to feed CNC machines and Weld area., Operate Cosen and DoALL saws. Familiar with manual milling. Responsible for painting material. Operating pneumatic spray paint equipment (respirator required). Assist in pouring of lead when needed (respirator required). Familiar with manual pipe threading. Keep accurate inventory of raw material. Keep shop and machines clean and operable. Assist in shipping to build crates for shipments. The individual must be willing to accept other projects and learn additional skills such as packaging, shipping, and other various warehouse functions.
Required skills: Forklift/Tow motor operation, power tools (including saws, drills, and pneumatics, basic computer skills, ability to read blueprints or technical drawings, use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures. Lift 75 pounds without assistance and pass a respirator fit test
Must have valid driver license.
