What You’ll Do
- Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures, including extractions and implant placement
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments
- Support patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Assist with sedation workflows and patient monitoring (training provided as needed)
- Take high-quality digital imaging and CBCT scans
- Ensure efficient operatory turnover and instrument sterilization
- Support patient flow to maintain an organized and on-time schedule
- Provide a calm, reassuring experience for patients, especially those with anxiety
What We’re Looking For
- Prior dental assisting experience required (oral surgery experience strongly preferred)
- Experience with or interest in IV sedation and advanced surgical procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate provider needs
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, procedure-driven environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to stay focused and composed during surgical procedures
