- Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or industrial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners efficiently and safely
- Assist with light maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs or minor repairs when needed
- Follow established safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Support floor care activities including buffing and polishing to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules promptly and efficiently
Requirements
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and reliability
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance or porter experience is a plus
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment as required
