We’re Hiring: Full-Time House Manager | Ronald McDonald House Wichita
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Wichita, Kansas

Ronald McDonald House Wichita is looking for a Full-Time House Manager to join our team!
As a House Manager, you’ll play an important role in creating a warm, caring and supportive “home away from home” for families with critically ill or injured children. You’ll be the welcoming face of the House during your shift—supporting families, volunteers and guests while helping ensure the House runs smoothly and safely.
- Welcome, check in, and support families staying at the House
- Staff the front desk and respond to family needs with compassion and professionalism
- Process referrals and assist families with House policies and procedures
- Maintain family records, logs and administrative information
- Help ensure guest rooms and common areas are clean, organized and ready for families
- Work closely with volunteers, meal groups and activity groups
- Provide tours and communicate the mission to families, visitors and volunteers
- Monitor the House and respond appropriately to safety, security and facility concerns
- Receive and process donations
- Communicate effectively with the House team and other staff members
- Help create an atmosphere of warmth, compassion and support for every family
We’re looking for someone who:
✔️ Has experience working with families in stressful situations and/or customer service
✔️ Has excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
✔️ Can manage multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure
✔️ Enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds
✔️ Can work independently while also being a strong team member
✔️ Is comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and reservation database software
✔️ Has strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
✔️ Maintains confidentiality and privacy
✔️ Has energy and passion for the Ronald McDonald House Wichita mission
✔️ Has a valid Kansas driver’s license
A bachelor’s degree and experience working with volunteers are preferred. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
