Join our dynamic team as a Guest Services Associate at Ronald McDonald House Vermont, where your enthusiasm and exceptional customer service skills will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests and assists with a variety of in-house operations and guest services 3 days a week. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in/check-out procedures, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Support the goal of Ronald McDonald House Vermont to provide nutritious meals for guest families staying at the House by primarily ensuring that dinner is available each evening and basic breakfast and lunch items are available.
- Work from planned menus to fill gaps in volunteer meal group coverage.
- The ideal candidate loves planning and creating nutritious, delicious meals and enjoys keeping the kitchen well-stocked and organized.
- Accepts food donations and deliveries. Repacks items if needed for safety and freshness. Put all delivered items away in appropriate locations in the House. Inventory and rotating as necessary.
- Primary point person for scheduling individual volunteers as well as volunteer groups to prepare meals and baked goods.
- Maintain a Wish List for the House.
- All other duties assigned to support the mission of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Must be available Monday, Thursday, and Friday each week.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests, visitors, and volunteers as needed in person and by phone or email.
- Experience cooking nourishing dinners for groups of 8-12 people.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain food safety and cleanliness.
- Flexibility with regard to work assignments and changing priorities.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
