Since 1988, the family of any hospitalized or ill child receiving treatment at a Boise medical facility has found a home away from home at the Idaho Ronald McDonald House. Families come from across Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Northern Nevada and beyond. The House serves hundreds of families each year that face many challenges with their sick children.
Providing these families with a safe, supportive, welcoming place to stay is the reason the Ronald McDonald House exists. The staff, volunteers and Board of Directors help to meet basic needs and provide more than just the necessities. With the help of all the supporters of the House, families are provided shelter, food, support, and care.

In order for them to safely stay in our space--especially if a family member is immune-compromised--we need to sanitize multiple times each day. Additionally, we want our House to be warm and calming, thus we maintain a tidy space.
