Support an Army energy office in external engagement efforts and lead outreach to legislative partners. Complete monthly tasks, including analyzing products, processes, and engagement strategies, coordinating US and State briefings, fact sheets or information papers, article writing, and developing leadership materials and managing pre-briefs to leadership. Manage events, online and social media development and maintenance, website content and design, platform management and execution, event coordination and outreach planning, communications metrics, multiple media, conferences and exhibits, and stakeholder database. Develop presentations, information papers, speeches, events and outreach planning, support functions, and other requirements as identified. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of more junior employees.Basic Qualifications:10 years of experience with congressional communicationsExperience supporting the militaryExperience working in the energy industryExperience with multiple writing styles, including communications plans, speech writing, fact sheets, social media, formal correspondence, and campaignsAbility to obtain a security clearanceBachelor's degreeAdditional qualifications:Experience in working with creative staff to develop compelling campaigns
