Now Seeking a Warehouse Support Associate for Summer 2026!
Position will run from June 1, 2026 through July 31st, 2026.
Schedule is 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. *No work on Friday, July 3rd.*
Title: Summer Warehouse Assistant
Reports to: Purchasing Agent
General Summary: Provide general support for warehouse operations, with a focus on receiving, order preparation, organization, and transport of curriculum to buildings. Responsibilities will include loading and unloading vehicles, use of warehouse equipment, driving a company vehicle when necessary, and maintaining a clean, safe, organized workspace.
Essential Functions:
1. Assists with order fulfillment. Maintains the orderliness and organization of
the warehouse.
2. Receives incoming supplies/materials, verifies receipt on purchase orders, and
supplies for distribution utilizing the District's computerized system.
3. Assists with loading and unloading vehicles as directed.
4. Assists with miscellaneous movement of furniture, equipment, and materials as needed/directed.
5. Acts as a substitute delivery driver when necessary.
6. Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
3. One year of successful experience as a delivery driver or warehouse assistant for preferred status.
4. Knowledge and understanding of proper driving techniques when hauling heavy loads. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and others.
5. Prefer knowledge of district-operated distribution systems. Ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
