Ron Tonkin Toyota is experiencing exceptional growth, and we’re adding a skilled Used Car Technician/Mechanic to our Service Department to keep up with demand. Our dealership stays consistently busy, providing steady work and long‑term opportunity for experienced technicians.

As a Used Car Technician/Mechanic, you’ll play a key part in our operation by reconditioning and servicing used vehicles—helping expand our customer base and maintain the high standards our dealership is known for. This position is an excellent fit for an automotive technician with prior repair experience, a dependable work history, and pride in quality workmanship.

Used Car Technician/Mechanic Job Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Keep the shop area neat and clean
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and by the dealership

Used Car Technician/Mechanic Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior used car technician experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Personal Tools

Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
