Ron Tonkin Chevrolet has been servicing the Portland Metro’s automotive needs for almost 70 years running! We are actively expanding our digital sales operations and are hiring Sales BDC Representatives for immediate hire. Our BDC team is the engine of our dealership, providing the first point of contact for our online and over-the-phone clientele. This position has a high-volume workload but is very rewarding to those who can keep up! The ideal candidate is a master of communication and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Sales BDC Representative Job Responsibilities

• Lead Management: Promptly respond to all inbound internet inquiries and phone calls to assist customers in their vehicle search.

• Appointment Setting: Prospect, qualify, and schedule showroom appointments for our sales team to ensure a seamless customer transition.

• Database Maintenance: Utilize CRM software to meticulously track customer interactions and execute long-term follow-up strategies.

• Consultative Support: Act as a product expert to answer technical questions and build rapport with potential buyers before they ever step onto the lot.

Sales BDC Representative Qualifications

• 1-3 years prior experience in a BDC, call center, or sales environment.

• Strong digital literacy and experience working within a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Driver’s License.

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
