Ron's Towing & Transport, LLC is looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Tow Truck Operator / Location Manager in Sidney, Nebraska.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and can help oversee daily operations. We’re looking for someone who values safety, communicates well, and is ready to take on the responsibilities of towing, recovery, roadside assistance, and equipment management.
Experience in towing and recovery is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual! A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
CDL Class A is Required
Job Responsibilities
- Towing & Recovery: Safely operate tow trucks and related equipment to perform vehicle towing, recovery, and transport services.
- Roadside Assistance: Assist motorists with roadside needs in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
- Accident & Scene Management: Help manage accident scenes and recovery operations while prioritizing safety, communication, and proper procedures.
- Equipment Operation & Management: Operate, maintain, and help manage trucks, tools, and recovery equipment to ensure they are ready for use.
- Location Management: Help coordinate daily operations, manage equipment and workflow, and support the effective operation of the Sidney location.
- Customer Service & Communication: Communicate professionally with customers, motorists, and other parties while representing the company positively.
- Documentation & Logging: Maintain accurate service records, job documentation, and required logs.
Qualifications
- Towing, recovery, roadside assistance, or related experience preferred.
- Willingness to train candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and work ethic.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Safety-conscious with the ability to assess situations and make sound decisions.
- Willingness to learn to operate towing and recovery equipment properly.
- Ability to manage responsibilities while maintaining professionalism in challenging situations.
- Appropriate driver's license and any required endorsements or certifications for the equipment operated.

- Salary based on experience and qualifications (DOE).
