Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Wells, MN. The Salesperson will identify and qualify residential and commercial customers for plumbing, HVAC, electric, generator, and water conditioning services and products. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, scheduling consultations, preparing estimates, and presenting solutions that match customer needs and budgets. The role involves maintaining accurate records in the sales system, following up on leads, coordinating with service technicians and office staff, and supporting ongoing customer relationships. The Salesperson is expected to meet sales targets, uphold company standards, and represent the company professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in customer service, relationship building, and effective communication with residential and commercial clients.
- Experience in consultative or field sales, preferably in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, generators, or related home services.
- Ability to assess customer needs, explain technical concepts in clear terms, and prepare accurate quotes or proposals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including maintaining records, managing appointments, and following up on leads.
- Comfort working on-site with customers and collaborating closely with technicians and office staff.
- Basic understanding of building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, generators, and water conditioning) or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency with common office and CRM software tools to track opportunities and update customer information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or sales training is beneficial.
