- Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Conduct sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards across all facilities.
- Use manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks, adhering strictly to safe lifting practices to prevent injuries.
- Maintain cleaning equipment by performing routine checks, cleaning, and proper storage after use.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and basic maintenance duties including minor repairs or residential painting as needed.
- Follow safety protocols at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during cleaning operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the use of various cleaning equipment including floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Knowledge of chemical agent handling safety procedures is essential for maintaining a safe workspace.
- Experience with facilities maintenance or general upkeep tasks such as minor repairs or painting is advantageous.
