Key Responsibilities

• Title Processing: Meticulously prepare and process vehicle titles, registrations, and lien releases to ensure seamless ownership transfers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of Ohio state DMV regulations and federal laws to ensure all transactions meet legal standards.
• Documentation: Verify VIN numbers, odometer readings, and supporting legal documentation for accuracy, resolving discrepancies quickly.
• Liaison Duties: Act as a point of contact between the dealership, customers, financial institutions, and state DMV offices.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed, organized records of all title and registration transactions in our dealership management software.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: Proven experience as an Automotive Title Clerk or in a similar automotive administrative role is required.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in dealership management software, DMV portals, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and the ability to audit complex legal paperwork.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues in documentation and proactively find solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively assist customers and work with various departments.
• Ethical Judgment: A high degree of integrity when handling confidential customer and financial information.
