Immigration Assistant Bilingual Spanish (Fort Lee, NJ)
We are an Immigration Law Firm located in Midtown Manhattan, with administrative offices in Fort Lee, NJ. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Bilingual Spanish Immigration Legal Assistant for our Fort Lee, NJ, office to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in immigration law, including business immigration, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch services to our clients.
As a key member of our legal team, you will work closely with attorneys, corporate clients, and government agencies to ensure the smooth and efficient management of cases.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist attorneys in preparing, filing, and managing various immigration documents, including visa applications, employment-based petitions, and adjustment of status cases.
-Communicate effectively with clients to gather required documentation, explain procedures, and provide timely status updates.
-Maintain organized case files, ensuring all paperwork is accurately filed and up to date.
-Coordinate with government agencies, consulates, and other relevant entities to facilitate case progression.
-Prepare legal correspondence, affidavits, and other supporting documentation as required.
-Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and tracking important deadlines.
-Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency within the immigration practice.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience handling immigration petitions and visas.
-Bachelor’s degree.
-Proficiency in case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and government officials.
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of case management.
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
